Happy New Year and welcome to the first Sportlingo newsletter! I hope you had a great holiday season and are feeling energized for the year ahead. This newsletter is all about youth sports. I will be sharing product updates, coaching insights, and ideas that help teams perform better while keeping kids motivated, learning, and moving.
🚀 What is Sportlingo?
Sportlingo helps kids learn about sports in a fun and engaging way. Coaches create lesson packs using the coaching dashboard, and players complete those lessons in the mobile app. Our AI technology works across any sport and any skill level, from beginner through expert.
🚨 Why are we Building Sportlingo?
There are two main reasons we are building Sportlingo.
Coaches do not get enough time with their players. Practice time is limited. Sportlingo gives coaches the ability to assign homework so players can continue learning and improving outside of practice.
Kids are losing interest in sports. The data is troubling: 70% of kids quit youth sports by age 13 and 80% of kids who quit stop all forms of exercise. Kids are missing out on the life lessons from sports, and their health is getting worse.
Our team is on a mission to make sports fun and help kids stay active.
🤝 How can you help?
There is a common challenge for startups. Enterprise organizations are hesitant to work with early companies, and investors want to see traction with enterprise partners. The best way to bridge this gap is through Letters of Intent, or LOIs.
Our biggest area of need is signing LOIs with leagues or organizations that have at least 100 teams. These LOIs are designed to be very low risk. If you know someone who may be open to learning more about Sportlingo, I would appreciate an introduction. I’m happy to set up a 20% commission on any successful referrals you make.

Wishing you great success in 2026. It takes hard work and collaboration to keep kids interested in sports. I hope you will support us in the journey ahead! 💪
